Library Information Specialist – Denise Tripp

I have been at Edmonds School District for the past 12 years.  This year will be my 19th year in education.  Before starting to work in the Library, I taught English for 10 years and History for another 8.  Originally from Spokane, I moved to this area to attend the University of Washington where I majored in English and Comparative History of Ideas (CHID). After graduating from the UW, I started my Master in Teaching Degree at Whitworth University in Spokane.  My favorite  author is John Steinbeck and I even took a pilgrimage to his hometown Salinas, California so I could engulf myself in his life.  The first book that I remember reading by him was The Grapes of Wrath.  I have a passion for research and I am excited to help you find the sources that you need for your projects or life interests.
